Pixel 11 specs and price leak with no surprises

1 Mins read

The Pixel 11 lineup is shaping up to be exactly what we expected, and that might sting a little for your wallet. Android Headlines has published what it claims are the full specs and pricing for Google’s upcoming phone family, and the details line up neatly with everything we’ve been hearing in the weeks leading up to the August 12th launch event.

The standard Pixel 11 will start at $899, which is a $100 bump over last year’s model. The silver lining here is that Google is doubling the base storage to 256GB, so you’re at least getting something extra for your money. Every device in the lineup will run on Google’s new Tensor G6 chip paired with the Titan M3 security chip, keeping the hardware story familiar across the board.

Things get more painful as you move up the range. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at $1,099 while the Pro XL jumps to $1,299, and both are reportedly taking a hit on RAM, dropping to just 12GB. That cut seems to be part of a broader cost-saving push from Google that some have dubbed RAMageddon, since even the Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets the same treatment and now carries a hefty $1,899 starting price.

On the camera front, the base Pixel 11 will reportedly lose its telephoto lens entirely and settle for a dual rear camera setup. The Pro models seem content to carry over the same camera arrangement from the Pixel 10 generation, and the displays across the lineup look largely unchanged year over year. It all adds up to an incremental update that asks customers to pay more for what feels like less.
