Cincinnati Children’s is moving forward with an ambitious series of facility enhancements across its Avondale footprint, committing nearly 39 million dollars toward modernization efforts. The investment spans two distinct locations, focusing on both expanding the hospital’s visible presence in the community and upgrading critical internal systems that keep the medical center running smoothly.
At the heart of these developments is a significant overhaul at 3333 Burnet Avenue. Messer Construction Company has been tasked with handling extensive commercial alterations at the main campus, specifically targeting necessary updates to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure. This multi-million dollar push ensures that the core facilities can continue to support high-level pediatric care through updated utility frameworks.
Simultaneously, the hospital is putting its mark on a more recent acquisition over at 3090 Exploration Avenue. While the focus there is less about heavy machinery and more about identity, the organization is currently installing prominent new signage. With work handled by local firm Holthaus Lackner Signs Inc., new markers will soon be visible atop the roof and above the parking garage, signaling the integration of this site into the broader children’s healthcare network.
