The difference between veganism and vegetarianism

Veganism is a type of diet that excludes meat as well as all animal-based products. Vegan refers to a person who follows this diet, or to the diet itself. Vegetarianism, in contrast, still allows for animal-based products like eggs, dairy, and cheese. Richgail “RG” Enriquez-Diez, founder of the Astig Vegan brand and author of the book Filipino Vegan, explains the difference.
